SILVER AWARD
Girl Scout Cadettes Have The Power To Change Their Community! Every superhero starts by spotting a problem and deciding to take action. What are the challenges in our community? What could be improved? Through the Girl Scout Silver Award, Cadettes tackle real-world issues and create powerful, lasting change. Training opportunities are available through Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri for leaders, caregivers and Cadettes who want to learn more about the Silver Award. For a complete list of trainings, turn to the Older Girl Program Listing section on pg. 40. After completing their Silver Award project, Cadettes should receive approval from their troop leader or adult volunteer before submitting the online completion form to Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Projects must be submitted by March 1 to be recognized at the special award celebration in June each year. Projects received after this date will be recognized at the following year’s celebration.
