Offered to: Senior | Ambassador Grades 9-12

Become a part of the animal welfare movement and learn what we can do to help animals in our community! In this program, we will visit the Humane Society to hear about issues affecting animals locally and explore husbandry and animal entertainment. Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch at a local vegetarian restaurant to discuss the complex relationship between animals and humans.

Who loves to craft? Girl Scouts will grab their favorite craft or learn a new one as we hang out for a fun filled evening with our fellow Girl Scouts. We’ll have a variety of crafts to try, or Girl Scouts can bring their own projects!

This program is for Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! This training will allow Cadettes to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their completion and final report.

During this program, Girl Scouts will explore handling challenges with empathy, courage, and respect. Through fun team activities, real-life scenarios, and creative problem-solving games, Cadettes will learn how to communicate effectively, listen with understanding, and resolve conflicts peacefully. By the end, they’ll gain practical tools to build stronger friendships, create harmony, and lead with kindness.

In this program, Girl Scouts will be come certified Program Aides, learning skills that they need to be a leader to younger Girl Scouts! Cadettes will even get to help facilitate our Tea Party event by creating activities for Girl Scouts, learning how to host an event, and assisting with various jobs during the party. Cadettes will be required to volunteer for the You and Me and a Cup of Tea event on March 21.

Cadettes will test their limits, outsmart their peers, and dominate in the ultimate showdown. This one of-a-kind event invites teens to compete in a series of themed physical and mental challenges designed to push their creativity, courage, and critical thinking.
