During this kitchen chemistry lab, Cadettes will explore the science behind everyday foods through hands-on experiments. Girl Scouts will apply the scientific method while investigating variables in kitchen-based chemistry experiments. Participants will create scientific posters to showcase their findings which will be displayed at the Girl Scout Symposium on February 6.

Comparison shopping helps us balance the value and cost of the purchases we make. A rare opportunity to earn a retired badge, Cadettes will participate virtually to compare prices, reviews and value of items online. This program includes a box mailed to the participant’s house with all the supplies needed and the badge earned.

Mix, Measure, Discover is a program for Girl Scouts on the autism spectrum. During this program, older Girl Scouts will utilize the scientific method to explore the science behind common foods. Girl Scouts will learn and apply the scientific method while participating in kitchen-based science experiments. They will then create a poster to demonstrate their findings which will be displayed at the Girl Scout STEM Symposium on February 6.

What are ways to share our passions or hobbies with the internet? Seniors will learn all about how to create and design a blog or website and how to use it!

This program is for Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! This training will allow Cadettes to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their completion and final report.

Girl Scout Cadettes will discover how to use their values and practice leadership as they choose, plan, and carry out their own courageous act.
