Blast off into the galaxy with this exciting space-themed adventure where Brownies will use their five senses to explore space science! As we journey through the stars, Girl Scouts will complete activities that connect sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell to the science of space.

This program is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! This training will allow Juniors to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit their completion.

Grades 4-5

In this space science adventure, Juniors will explore how astronauts prepare for space travel. Girl Scouts will design a mission patch, create an astronaut menu, and build a spacesuit. Three steps of the Space Science Badge will be completed during the program, and instructions for finishing the remaining two steps will be sent home.
