Engineering Day at Saint Louis University

Grades 2-5

Brownies and Juniors will dive into three engineering challenges, like designing an assistive device and building a shelter that can stand up to an earthquake. Then, they’ll create a final project to show how engineering can help solve big challenges around the world. All projects will be shared at the Girl Scout STEM Symposium on February 6.

Become a gingerbread architect and put those skills to the test! Juniors will build simple gingerbread houses using the design process to plan and build their structures. After building their houses, Girl Scouts will put their structural design to the test with an earthquake shake table.
