2025 Spring Older Girl Mini Guide

Daisy-Ambassador & Adults, Grades K-12 Join us for a vibrant outdoor celebration of cultural traditions! During this inaugural event, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will bring the community together to honor the past while embracing the present and future of cultural change and enrichment. Girl Scouts receive Engagement and Belonging patch. Location: Girl Scout Service Center, 63146 Cadette, Grades 6-8 Cadettes will learn how citizen scientists make observations, collect data, and help scientists conduct scientific research. Then, they’ll apply what they’ve learned by surveying and identifying the living things that call camp home—including flowers, birds, reptiles, mammals and more! Girl Scouts will record their findings and share their observations with researchers and scientists using iNaturalist as part of the City Nature Challenge. Cadettes complete Part 1 of the Think Like a Citizen Scientist Badge. Location: Babler Memorial State Park, 63005 Senior, Ambassador and Adult, Grades 9-12 This program is an open discussion for Girl Scouts pursuing the Gold Award, the highest leadership award a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout can earn. We will answer questions about requirements, ideas, proposals and components. We can also assist Girl Scouts creating their account on the GoGold website. Gold Award training is not a prerequisite but can be beneficial before attending the open discussion.
