Welcome to the 2025 Recruitment Team Playbook!

Whether you are brand new to the position or have many years of experience, this year’s Recruitment Team Training will ensure you have all the valuable resources necessary for a successful fall recruitment season. In addition to the physical resources provided by the Girl Scout Council, our Community Engagement Managers are also here to support the Recruitment Team. I encourage our Recruitment Team and Community Engagement Managers to work closely together throughout the year, so every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout has the opportunity to be one. Together, we are helping our eastern Missouri Girl Scouts build courage, confidence, and character, which means a brighter future for us all!

I am Christy Hummel and I would like to take a moment to recognize that Girl Scouts could not exist without the help of our volunteers. Please allow me to thank you, and remind you how appreciated and valued each member of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri community is to our entire organization. As an adult volunteer, you encourage girls to imagine solutions, chase innovation and channel their confidence, as they experience all that our organization has to offer. You are there to lift them up and help them shoot for the stars—and for that I sincerely thank you for your service and commitment to our future leaders. I am excited to kick off a new Girl Scout year and partner together to help girls from across eastern Missouri achieve their ambitions and dreams.
