Chain of Communication Use this guide to follow the chain of communication when seeking additional support or resolution to an issue. If you have general questions about Girl Scouts, need support for gsLearn, or assistance with registering for programs or camp, please contact the Answer Center at 314.400.4600.

Caregivers with troop-related concerns should start by speaking with troop leadership to try and resolve the situation at hand. Engage with co-leader as well, if additional assistance is needed. If troop leadership feels they need more support, they will reach out to their school’s Troop Organizer or Neighborhood Manager, depending on the type of support.

Troop Leader

This position will offer support with roster-related issues and adding additional girls to the troop, or questions regarding school support/contacts.

Troop Organizer

Neighborhood Manager

This position can assist with conflict resolution on the troop-level, as well as answer questions regarding Cookies, Treats & Reads and April Showers. If the Neighborhood Manager needs more support, they will reach out to the Dis trict Manager for guidance.

If the District Managers needs additional support, they will contact their Community Engagement Manager (CEM) for guidance.

District Manager

The Community Engagement Manager (CEM) is the Council support staff member for a district. If a CEM needs additional support to resolve an issue, they will work directly with GSEM Council leadership.
