Discover chemistry with the American Chemical Society! In this program, Girl Scouts will be guided by experienced chemists in different hands-on chemistry experiments. Participants will go on a tour of the University of Missouri—St. Louis chemistry lab and become a scientist themselves! Join us and discover the magic of chemistry.

How much energy does it take to heat a house? Learn about energy from experts and how to conserve it during this program. By the end, Girl Scouts will have an idea of how to fix an energy problem in their community.

Join us for an exciting day trip to visit the state capitol in Jefferson City. Participants will tour the historic capitol building, see how state legislature works, and immerse themselves in the history of the Show Me State. All Girl Scouts will complete multiple steps of the Democracy Badge for their program level, details regarding these steps will be provided in the confirmation. Troops participating with five or more Girl Scouts are required to provide two adults. All individual Girl Scouts must have a registered adult attend with them. All participants will arrive by bus transportation together, wearing special event shirts that will be provided along with a snack!

Girl Scouts receive a fun patch and earn multiple parts of the Democracy Badge.

Junior Entertainment Technology April 16, 6-8 pm

Meet us at the St. Louis County Library Clark Family Branch for a workshop in the creative lab! Juniors will meet with a maker specialist to learn the technology behind special effects and sound.
