Discover chemistry with the American Chemical Society! In this program, Girl Scouts will be guided by experienced chemists in different hands-on chemistry experiments. Girls will go on a tour of the UMSL chemistry lab and become a scientist themselves! Join us and discover the magic of chemistry.

Join us for an exciting day trip to visit the state capitol in Jefferson City. Girls will tour the historic capitol building, see how state legislature works, and immerse themselves in the history of the Show Me State. Everyone will receive a T-shirt to wear at the capitol. All Girl Scouts will complete multiple steps of the Democracy Badge for their program level, details regarding these steps will be provided in the confirmation. An adult must register with each Girl Scout or troop. Bus transportation is required.

This course is for Girl Scout Juniors who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Bronze Award. Caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Bronze Award project and how to submit completion.
