Ways to Participate

The GSEM Program Team is excited to offer a full line-up of fun-filled programs, workshops, and events in the upcoming Girl Scout year! Below you will find some helpful tips and reminders about participating in these opportunities.

Location Our programs, workshops and events offer Girl Scouts the opportunity to join us virtually, in-person at our Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center or special locations within our council jurisdiction. Please note that for the safety of our Girl Scouts, the locations are included in our publications but will not show up in the registration description in myGS or the events calendar. The location will be confirmed after registration has been completed.

Waitlist We are so honored to have so many Girl Scouts wanting to participate in our programs, with many of our waitlists filling up. We ask that families inform us as soon as possible if they won’t be able to make the program so we can move Girl Scouts off the waitlist for the chance to participate. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds after the registration deadline, which is typically two weeks before the program. However, families who still let us know to cancel their spot after the registration deadline can ensure that another Girl Scout can move into the program from the waitlist. If signing up as a troop, we ask troop leaders to check in with families prior to the registration deadline to confirm their availability since we know many schedules can change as the school year gets started.
