2023 Girl Scout Impact Report

“At camp, I am free to be adventurous because we try so many new things!” -Elena, Girl Scout Brownie

1,700 overnight campers

15,126 camp experiences

Building Campfires and Confidence Girl Scout Camp is more popular than ever! In 2023, we saw a 29 percent increase in girls participating in camp over last year, and a 7 percent increase in girls participating in overnight camp. Girl Scouts were excited to spend time at camp with one another swimming, riding horses, canoeing, sleeping in tents, and more. Along with experiencing the classic camp activities, girls are building outdoor skills and the confidence to challenge themselves to do more. And, it’s time away from screens, belly laughing with bunkmates, sing-alongs around the campfire, and playing outside in the fresh air. Camp is a place to make lifelong memories and just be a kid in the outdoors!
