Senior/Ambassador Outdoor Journey Grades 8-12 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: Aug. 4-5, 5 pm, Fri.,-5 pm, Sat. Location: Greensfelder County Park, Pacific 63069 Cost: $80 per girl; $0 per adult Deepen your outdoor skills and appreciation with other older Girl Scouts! Spend a weekend adventuring outdoors, sleeping under the stars, and honing outdoor expertise. A Senior/Ambassador Journey is a prerequisite to a Girl Scout Gold Award. Seniors will earn their Outdoor Journey (including Adventurer, Senior First Aid, Adventure Camper, and Take Action badges). Ambassadors will earn their Outdoor Journey (including Outdoor Art Master, Water, Survival Camper, and Take Action badges). Junior Outdoor Journey Grades 3-5 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: Aug. 18-19, 5 pm, Sun.-noon, Mon. Location: West Tyson County Park, Eureka 63025 Cost: $80 per girl; $0 per adult Whether you have or haven’t camped before, this weekend will show you how fun outdoor adventures can be and teach you how to care for our environment. Juniors will learn to take of animal habitats and resources, and camp outside. A Junior Journey is a prerequisite to a Girl Scout Bronze Award. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Outdoor Journey which includes Animal Habitats, Camper, Eco Camper, and Take Action badges. Shark Canyon Overnight at the St. Louis Aquarium Grades 3-5 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: July 21-22 Location: St. Louis Aquarium, St. Louis 63103 Cost: $60 Spend the night at the St. Louis Aquarium in Shark Canyon! Girl Scouts will learn about the importance of water stewardship and how we can take action to help our rivers and oceans. This brand-new overnight program will include a chance to get up close with some of the aquarium’s animals, a behind-the-scenes tour, and a sleepover in Shark Canyon!

2 Day, 1 Night Programs

Quad Cities Adventure Grades 2-5 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: June 23-24, 8:30 am, Fri.-6 pm, Sat. Location: Quad Cities, IA and IL Cost: $300 (GSEM)/$275 (Hannibal) per girl or $325 (GSEM)/$300 (Hannibal) per adult Head up the Mighty Mississippi to the Quad Cities! We’ll travel by bus to Davenport to explore The Putnam Museum & Science Center. The next day, we’ll visit the Quad Cities Botanical Garden and then board the Riverboat Twilight for a scenic cruise on the Mississippi River. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Berges Family Girl Scout Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146 or Hannibal, MO. To register for this program in gsEvents, use the 63146 zip code. Current River Camp and Canoe Grades 8-12 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: July 16-17, 1 pm, Sun.-6 pm, Mon. Location: Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Emience, MO Cost: $100 Join us on an adventure to the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, the first national park area to protect a river system. Girl Scouts will camp overnight and spend the next day canoeing on the Current River. We will explore nearby trails and sites in addition to canoeing. Girl Scouts will build their paddling skills and learn how to be safe—and have fun—on the water. Girl Scouts must have previous canoeing experience. Location: West Tyson County Park, Eureka 63025 Cost: $80 per girl; $0 per adult Learning about and caring for the outdoors helps us appreciate the world around us while learning valuable skills to become confident women. Cadettes will explore outdoors at night, go on an adventure, and camp in a tent. A Cadette Journey is a prerequisite to a Girl Scout Silver Award. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Outdoor Journey which includes Night Owl, Trailblazing, Primitive Camper, and Take Action badges.
