2023 Camp Adventure Guide

Junior Robotics Badge Day Grades 3-4 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: Aug. 3, 9 am- 3 pm Location: Girl Scout Service Center, St. Louis 63146 Cost: $60 Juniors will create and program robots with LEGO, teamwork, and guidance from Girl Scouts robotics experts. This program will give Girl Scouts a sneak peek into the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Program. FLL introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Lunch is provided. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Programming Robots, Designing Robots, and Showcasing Robots badges. Brownie Robotics Badge Day Grades 1-2 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: Aug. 10, 9 am-3 pm Location: Girl Scout Service Center, St. Louis 63146 Cost: $60 Brownies will learn the basics of creating and programming robots with LEGO, teamwork, and guidance from Girl Scouts robotics experts. This program will give Girl Scouts a sneak peek into the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Program. FLL introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Lunch is provided. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Programming Robots, Designing Robots, and Showcasing Robots badges. Daisy/Brownie Animal Sampler Grades K-3 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: Aug. 11, 8 am-4 pm Location: Girl Scout Service Center, St. Louis 63146 Cost: $60 From high above to on the ground, there are so many animals to explore! Take a day trip with us to find out more about birds at the World Bird Sanctuary and to see bigger wildlife at the Endangered Wolf Center. Bus transportation and lunch will be provided, participants will begin the day at the Program Center before traveling to our destinations, then back to the Program Center for pick-up. Participants will receive a fun patch.

Urban Target Sampler Day Grades 5-12 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: June 26, 9 am-4 pm Location: Buder Park Archery Range, St. Louis 63088 Cost: $60 Ready, set, aim! Girl Scouts will enjoy a day filled with aiming through two target sports: archery and hatchet throwing. Girl Scouts will learn the basics of the sports and the equipment, and have plenty of time to practice both target sports as well as participate in fun competitions. Lunch is provided. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Archery badge. Seniors/Ambassadors will receive a fun patch. Older Girl Robotics Badge Day Grades 5-12 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: July 14, 9 am- 3 pm Location: Girl Scout Service Center, St. Louis 63146 Cost: $60 Welcome to the world of robots, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors! During this program, Girl Scouts will design, program, and showcase a robot through fun, hands-on STEM learning. All participants will get a sneak peek into the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Robotics Program. Lunch is provided. Participants will earn all three Robotics badges for their Girl Scout level: Programming Robots, Designing Robots, and Showcasing Robots. Junior Horseback Riding Grades 3-5 for the 2022-2023 school year Date: July 26, 9 am-4 pm Location: Girl Scout Service Center, St. Louis 63146 Cost: $95 Explore the world of horses at Kraus Farms, a certified Girl Scout equestrian partner. We will start our day at the Program Center, then travel to the stable to learn about horse behavior and safety, and will get to ride horses throughout the day. We will return to the Program Center for pick-up at the end of the day. Juniors will earn their Horseback Riding badge.
