Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Cadettes will try their hand at movie making by learning a few basics and creating their own masterpieces. During the first session, girls will learn a few tips and tricks before creating their own creating their own short film to debut during a follow-up virtual program on Feb. 27. This program includes a box mailed to the participants house with all the supplies needed and the badge earned.

Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 If someone was sick or hurt, would you know how to help them? In this program, you’ll find out what to do in an emergency, from calling 911 to using first aid to treat minor injuries. When the unexpected happens, you’ll be prepared! This program includes a box mailed to the participants house with all the supplies needed and the badge earned.

Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Brownie First Aid Badge. Location: Virtual
Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Babysitting is a great way to build responsibility and caregiving skills (and earn some extra money!). Whether you are getting ready to start babysitting, or you’ve already started, this badge will help you become the best babysitter you can be. We’ll cover how to start your babysitting business, professionalism, important first aid skills, and child development. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for the course. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 6-12 On this extreme adventure, Girl Scouts will kayak underground at Crystal City Cave! Located less than an hour south of St. Louis, this is a unique opportunity you won't want to miss. The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see remnants of mining. This is at minimum a 2 hour excursion in a cold cave with a few tight spaces to navigate. Transportation to the cave is not provided. The Extreme Adventures programs offer 6-12 grade Girl Scouts unique and "extreme" outdoor related opportunities - see pg. 6 for more information about the program. This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high-school aged girl can earn. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! Girls going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; they will learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on Go Gold.
