Golden Trefoil Society: Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s flagship giving society. Its members demonstrate a passion for leadership development in young women by supporting Girl Scouts with an annual contribution of $1,000 or more

Grade Levels: Girls participate in Girl Scouting in six grade levels: Girl Scout Daisy, Kindergarten-grade 1; Girl Scout Brownie, grades 2-3; Girl Scout Junior, grades 4-5; Girl Scout Cadette, grades 6-8; Girl Scout Senior, grades 9-10; Girl Scout Ambassador, grades 11-12

Honor Troop: A program for troops to participate in special service projects and events within the Eastern Missouri community

Inspire Discovery: Eastern Missouri publication for Girl Scouts and their families. Includes program activities, Council news, upcoming events and general information. Published twice per year

Investiture: A ceremony to welcome new members into Girl Scouting; as part of the ceremony, girls or adults make the Girl Scout Promise

Journey: National Girl Scout program presented in books that focus on three themes. For each theme, there is an adult and girl book for each grade level

Juliette Low World Friendship Fund: A voluntary fund Girl Scouts throughout the United States contribute to each year. Funds are utilized to sponsor international exchange projects and other activities that help build friendships and a better understanding around the world through Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting

Juliettes: Program for individual girls to participate in Girl Scouting. Girls grades K-12 who are not part of a traditional troop can complete program activities at home under the guidance of a parent or guardian

Kaper Chart: A chart showing the job (kaper) assigned to each girl or each patrol for any given project, meal or activity

Lead & Learn: Eastern Missouri publication for Girl Scout volunteers. Includes adult training opportunities, Council news, upcoming events and general information. Published twice per year

Council Trainer: A volunteer or staff member who facilitates certain learning opportunities for adult members within the Volunteer Development Program; required to complete Job Orientation for Learning Facilitators and complete a student teaching assignment
