Way to Go, Girl Scouts! Give yourself a pat on the back—the Girl Scout Cookie season is over, and you did amazing things! What’s next? Your troop now has more funds to do the activities you planned. Maybe it’s a service project, or some field trips? The 2024 Cookie rewards you earned have also come in—be sure to ask your leader about these. Be sure to show appreciation to your troop’s cookie volunteers; they also worked hard this season. Don’t forget to show love to your cookie customers with a thank you note. Let them know what your troop is doing with their cookie funds. Have a great summer, Girl Scouts—you deserve it!

What Happens With All That Cookie Money?

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest source of funds that allows Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri to operate and for troops to fund their activities for the year. Here’s how it breaks down for each $6 package:

$1.32: Troop proceeds and rewards

$1.50: Covers cost of cookies and all other cookie program expenses

$3.18: Supports all other council programs, including volunteer training, camps, facilities, providing leadership programs to all Eastern Missouri Girl Scouts
