Program Description

Junior, Grades 4-5 Dive into a history lesson you won't soon forget by becoming a historical character! Juniors will experience an immersive program at the beautiful Sappington House, where they will connect with history in a whole new way. Put on a historically accurate costume, then get ready to experience life as one of Missouri's early families. Make your own butter, write with a feather quill, tour the historic house, and play games that girls would have played in the early 1800s. Juniors earn their Playing the Past Badge. Location: The Sappington House 63126 Brownie, Grades 2-3 Be a sister to every Girl Scout! Girls will learn all about how they can help to create more inclusive spaces for people of all abilities through fun activities and positive conversations. They will learn what disabilities are, what inclusion means and how it applies to Girl Scout values, and how they can make a difference by treating people with respect. Brownies earn their Disability Awareness Patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center 63146 Daisy, Grades K-1 Be a sister to every Girl Scout! Girls will learn all about how they can help to create more inclusive spaces for people of all abilities through fun activities and positive conversations. They will learn what disabilities are, what inclusion means and how it applies to Girl Scout values, and how they can make a difference by treating people with respect. Daisies earn their Disability Awareness Patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center 63146 Daisy and Brownie, Grades 1-2 Enjoy a sampling of everything Camp Cedarledge has to offer. Visit the craft shack, explore the trails, splash in the pool and much more! Learn new camping skills and make new memories and friendships that are sure to last a lifetime. Brownies earn their Outdoor Adventure Badge. Location: Camp Cedarledge 63070
