Summer 2024 Older Girl Mini Guide

Cadette, Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal. Location: Virtual Cadette, Senior and Ambassador, Grades 6-12 This camp showcases the best that Camp Cedarledge has to offer...the pool, craft shack, cooking s’mores over the campfire and sleeping out under the stars with new friends. Select from activities that interest you and enjoy the camp that you love! Location: Camp Cedarledge 63070 interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high-school aged girl can earn. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend, too! Girls going for the Gold Award are required to attend this training; they will learn the seven steps necessary to complete their Gold Award project and how to submit their proposal on Go Gold. Location: Virtual and Girl Scout Service Center 63146 Junior and Cadette, Grades 3-8 Take a trip to Hamilton, Missouri, the quilting capitol. On this fun and interactive adventure, Girl Scouts will learn about quilting and sewing as an art form, explore the amazing shops throughout town, and learn how to sew by creating their own beautiful quilting project. Transportation, lodging, and meals are included in the cost of the program. Juniors earn their Craft and Tinker Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center 63146 Cadette, Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal. Location: Virtual Senior and Ambassador, Grades 9-12 Open discussion for Girl Scouts pursuing the Gold Award, along with their troop leaders and caregivers. We will answer questions and talk about requirements, ideas, proposal and components.
