Girl Scout Seniors begin to experience more independence and responsibility, including keeping themselves safe! In this workshop, Seniors will learn about how to protect themselves through self defense, conflict resolution and creating a personal-responsibility statement. Then they’ll learn how to help protect those around them by honing their first aid skills and creating their own first aid kits. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their First Aid Badge and Safety Pin. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 9-12 Do you have an invention, like a new smartphone application, or a business idea, like a useful website? Have you dreamed up a strategy for how a local business can improve sales? This program will help put those dreams into action. Learn how to get your foot in the door by writing cover letters and resumes. Learn tips and tricks to ace an interview. Girls will leave this program with the skills to start their own business or join their dream job. They will even learn how to negotiate that dream salary.
