Offered to: Grades 11-12 Girl Scout Ambassadors are great leaders, and in emergency situations, people may turn to them for help. Be ready to handle emergencies by earning the First Aid Badge and Safety Pin. Ambassadors will learn all about handling outdoor emergencies by practicing their wilderness first aid skills and creating their own first aid kits. Then they will investigate how to stay safe on social media, when playing sports and in relationships, as well as how to be a safety leader. Girl Scout Ambassadors will earn their First Aid Badge and Ambassador Safety Pin. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-12 Join Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and NASA for a virtual chat with a member of NASA’s Artemis Team. The Artemis Program’s mission is to land the first woman and next man on the moon by 2024, using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before. A Zoom link will be sent after registration closes. Location: Virtual Grades 4-5 Join us on World Elephant Day to learn about where animals live, how they play and how humans can help them. Juniors will learn about wild animals, including elephants, and discover how to protect animal habitats and endangered animals. An at-home option is available for this program, please see pg. 18 for details. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Animal Habitats Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 4-5 Juniors will explore powerful women throughout history, learn to recognize their individual powers and how they can contribute to a team, and how their power can be carried out into their communities. A Junior Journey is a prerequisite to the Girl Scout Bronze Award. After this program, girls will need to implement a Take Action Project to complete the Agent of Change Journey. Join us as we stay up late to stargaze, watch for meteors and learn about the universe and our place in it. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Space Science Researcher Badge, Seniors will earn their Space Science Expert Badge, and Ambassadors will earn their Space Science Master Badge.
