Spring 2025 Younger Girl Mini Guide
Junior, Grades 4-5 Girl Scouts will learn how citizen scientists make observations, collect data, and help scientist conduct research. Then, they'll apply what they've learned by surveying and identifying the living things that call camp home. Girl Scouts will record their findings and share their observations with researchers and scientist using iNaturalist as part of the City Nature Challenge. Juniors complete Part 1 of Think Like a Citizen Scientist Badge. Location: Babler Memorial State Park, 63005 Daisy-Ambassador & Adults, Grades K-12 Join us for a vibrant outdoor celebration of cultural traditions! During this inaugural event, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri will bring the community together to honor the past while embracing the present and future of cultural change and enrichment. Girl Scouts receive Engagement and Belonging patch. Location: Girl Scout Service Center, 63146 Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Adult, Grades K-5 It's tea time! Send out an invite to the most important (and fanciest) "She," a mom, grandmother, aunt, adult sister or mentor, to join us for our Girl Scout tea party! Dress in tea party attire, and get ready for an afternoon of tea, finger sandwiches, and of course Girl Scout crafts! Girl Scouts receive a fun patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Brownie, Grades 2-3 Ready to hit the trail? Hiking is a fun and healthy outdoor activity. Brownies will learn skills for taking a successful hike, and then go on one! Daisy, Grades K-1 Daisies will explore how math and nature are connected. Girl Scouts will search for shadows, sort natural objects and create their own unit of measurement! Daisies earn their Math in Nature 2: Numbers Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 63146 Junior, Grades 4-5 Girl Scouts will learn the tips and tricks for capturing creative photos through a photo exploration workshop. Participants will take photos at Forest Park and bring home two digital self portraits that capture a positive internal quality and an image of themselves they imagine for their future. Cameras will be provided to take photos. Juniors earn their Digital Photographer Badge. Location: Forest Park, 63112 Daisy, Brownie and Junior, Grades K-5 It's time to create the future, Girl Scout! At this fun-filled, crafty program you will make girls will make their very own LEGO ® Masterpieces and artistic creations. Location: St. Clair Elementary School, 63077 Brownies earn their Brownie Hiker Badge. Location: Creve Coeur County Park, 63146
