American Red Cross First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor Blended Learning

Course Description: This course meets the requirements to become a First Aid, CPR/AED course instructor through the American Red Cross. The first part of the course is carried out online and takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. This online course must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills session. This certification is valid for two years. Approximately one week before the in-person skills session you will receive a link via email to the online course. Bring proof of your online course completion to the in-person skills session along with your certification for Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED.

Course Prerequisite : American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED certification.

Course Description: Everyone has mental health, and youth are experiencing mental health challenges at an ever-growing rate. In this course, you will learn what mental health is and how to recognize the signs of mental health challenges. You will explore different scenarios that young people may experience and learn how you can promote an environment within Girl Scouts for you and others to thrive and grow.
