First Aid, CPR/AED Instructor Blended Learning: All Course Description: By successfully completing this course Girl Scout volunteers will receive an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification, valid for 2 years. Each year the American Red Cross teaches lifesaving skills to GSEM volunteers Council wide creating a safe environment for girls. This is only possible with your help. Please consider devoting some of your time to make the world a better place by becoming an American Red Cross CPR Instructor! GSEM needs CPR Instructors to deliver training to volunteers so they can serve as First Aiders. Prerequisite: Current basic level certification in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) from the American Red Cross or an equivalent. The instructor will send participants information regarding the online session via email approximately one week prior to the in-person session.
