Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 This course is for Girl Scout Cadettes who are interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Silver Award. Parents, caregivers and troop leaders are welcome to attend as well. This training will allow girls to learn the steps necessary to complete their Silver Award project and how to submit their proposal.

Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 Girl Scout Cadettes will explore how programmers write computer programs for computers to solve problems. Girls will do three computational thinking activities and will learn how programmers write computer programs and how people can use computers to help others. A Cadette Journey is a prerequisite to earning the Girl Scout Silver Award. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Think Like a Programmer Journey Award and their Coding for Good 1: Coding Basics Badge. Grades 6-8 The sky isn’t the limit in Girl Scouts! Older girls will get the opportunity to learn about aviation, including drones, by meeting with aviation professionals including pilots and engineers. Girls will get a chance to fly a small drone and test their pilot skills. Girls will also learn about Wings of Hope’s mission and their humanitarian programs around the world. Location: Wings of Hope, 18370 Wings of Hope Blvd., St. Louis 63005 Grades 2-3 Robots are becoming more common in our world and are used to solve problems big and small. Girls will learn the basics of creating and programming robots with LEGO, teamwork, and guidance from Girl Scouts robotics experts. This program will give Brownies a sneak peek into the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Explore Program. FLL introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Offered to: Seniors | Ambassadors Grades 9-12 This course is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors interested in pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest community service award a high school-aged girl can earn.
