Offered to: Daisies | Brownies Grades K-3 Join us as we explore eastern Missouri – from underground to the highest point! We’ll travel underground to the Bonne Terre Mine for a guided tour by boat of the Billion Gallon Lake and spectacular views of the largest parts of the former mine. Then we’ll head to the highest point in Missouri: the top of Taum Sauk Mountain. Along the way, we’ll explore different trails and learn about different types of hikes and how to prepare. Drop off and pick up will be at the Berges Family Girl Scout Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146 or the Arnold Commuter Lot, Richardson Rd., Arnold, MO 63010 Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Daisy Trail Adventure Badge and Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Brownie Trail Adventure Badge. Grades 6-8 Cadette Camp-A-Rama is a weekend of excitement planned around being active in the outdoors surrounded by new and old Girl Scout friends. Girls participate in a variety of hands-on activities to help them discover an incredible amount about themselves. In addition to camp activities like swimming, canoeing and hiking, girls have the opportunity to choose from a variety of high adventure options. This in an individual girl event for bridging Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes; however, troops (girls and at least one adult volunteer) will be assigned to the same unit if registered by the deadline. Extra adult volunteers could be assigned to a different unit. Please note buddy requests when registering. A confirmation, including unit assignment, what to bring, check-in and check-out and other important information will be sent two weeks prior to the program date. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Cadettes Offered to: Seniors | Ambassadors | Adults Grades 9-12 Girl Scout Seniors, Ambassadors and adult volunteers are needed to participate in the implementation of the popular weekend event, Cadette Camp-A-Rama. An in-town session is held at the Girl Scout Service Center in May. Please plan to attend as important information will be provided to help prepare you for the weekend. You will also have the opportunity to sign up for a variety of volunteer positions available. Adult troop volunteers will be placed according to the needs of the camping units. Therefore, extra adults may be assigned to a different camping unit. All volunteers will be assigned to help in a program area during Saturday activities. Grades K-1 Let’s explore nature together and learn how we can protect it! Through this program, Daisies will earn the three awards in this Journey (Blue Bucket, Firefly and Clover Awards), and will plan a Take Action Project to put their knowledge into action.
