Live from Girl Scouts has helped my daughter develop independence and social interaction. She is always excited when the Live box arrives and can’t wait for the event night to come. Watching her find some independence in Girl Scouts is wonderful for a leader to see of her own child. I have watched her transition over several events from a shy girl who wanted mommy to stay right next to her to an independent Brownie who most recently sent me away, “I’m good mom, I can do it alone.” Thank you for a program that has shown her it’s okay to do Girl Scouts without mom right next to her.
