JUNE 2021 Cadette Camp-A-Rama Volunteers June 4-6 Start: 4 pm & 5:30 staff meeting, Fri. End: 10:30 am, Sun. $15 per girl or adult Registration Deadline: May 1 Camp Fiddlecreek Star Party June 12 Start: 8 pm End: 9:30 pm $0 per girl Min./Max. girls: 10/300 Registration Deadline: May 29

Offered to: Grades 9-12, Adults Girl Scout Seniors, Ambassadors and adult volunteers are needed to participate in the implementation of the popular weekend event, Cadette Camp-A-Rama. An “in-town” session is held at the Girl Scouts Service Center in May. Please plan to attend as important information will be provided to help prepare you for the weekend. You will also have the opportunity to sign up for a variety of volunteer positions available. At least one of the adult volunteers registering with a troop will be placed in the same unit with the troop. However, extra adults from troops may be assigned to a different unit, if needed, depending on the staffing needs in the units. Location: Camp Tuckaho, 163 Tuckaho Ln., Troy 63379 Grades K-12 Join us for a live-streamed star party from Camp Fiddlecreek! This virtual star party will feature views from our new Unistellar eVscope and other telescopes! Girls will be able to see nebulae, planets and more while we share fun facts and answer live questions. If weather is inclement, we will still have the event and share pictures from another night. Offered to: Offered to: Grades 10-12 The Empowerment Project is returning to its roots! Our premier high school leadership experience will engage our girls to empower themselves and their community through hands-on projects and experiences. Girls will stay at Myrtle’s Manor and experience the best of camp along with working with professional women in a mentor role. Senior Girl Scouts participating will earn all of the steps to the GIRLtopia Journey and receive instructions on their Take Action project. A Senior Journey is a prerequisite to the Girl Scout Gold Award which is the highest honor a girl can achieve! Location: Camp Fiddlecreek, 558 Daisy Ln., Labadie 63055 Offered to: Grades 6-12 This special weekend is the perfect opportunity for our older girls to come together and complete badge requirements for the Outdoor Journey. Girls will complete the Discover and Connect portions of their Journey and will receive details on completing their Take Action Project at a later date. Friday night will take place over Zoom and then we will meet at Camp Fiddlecreek all day Saturday. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Night Owl, Trailblazing and Primitive Camper Badges. Girl Scout Seniors will earn their First Aid (CPR/First Aid Red Cross Certified), Adventure and Adventure Camper Badges. Girl Scout Ambassadors will earn their Outdoor Art Master, Water and Survival Camper Badges. Location: Virtual
