MARCH 2021

Offered to: Grades 6-8 Based on the popular cooking television series, this program encourages Girl Scout Cadettes to step up to the challenge by creating their own dishes from pre-determined ingredients during each round. This culinary extravaganza has girls working alone or with their troop to craft their masterpieces with the ingredients and tools found in their home. After each round, girls present their creation to the judges to see who becomes the Girl Scout Chopped Champion! Parents are encouraged to sample the unique dishes made by the girls. Girl Scout Cadettes will complete Steps 1, 2 and 4 of their New Cuisine Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

Cadette Chopped Challenge March 31 Start: 6 pm End: 7:30 pm $10 per girl; includes program materials and badge Registration Deadline: March 17

APRI L 2021

Offered to: Grades 9-12 Based on the popular cooking television series, this program encourages Girl Scouts in high school to step up to the challenge by creating their own dishes from pre-determined ingredients during each round. This culinary extravaganza has girls working alone or with their troop to craft their masterpieces with the ingredients and tools found in their home. After each round, girls present their creation to the judges to see who becomes the Girl Scout Chopped Champion! Parents are encouraged to sample the unique dishes made by the girls. Girl Scout Seniors will complete Steps 3 and 4 of their Locavore Badge. Girl Scout Ambassadors will complete Steps 3 and 4 of their Dinner Party Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.

High School Chopped Challenge April 1 Start: 6 pm End: 7:30 pm $10 per girl; includes program materials and badge Registration Deadline: March 18

Grades 2-3

Robots are becoming more common in our world and more advanced every year, and are used to solve problems big and small. Girls will learn the basics of creating and programming robots with simple machines, algorithms and debugging. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Programming Robots Badge. All program supplies will be mailed directly to the girl’s household prior to the program.
