Curriculum Core

The best foundation begins with learning the basics! These trainings provide volunteers with important information, ideas and procedures to fulfill various Council roles or take girls to camp! BASIC CAMPING SKILLS: ALL Learn and practice skills including fire building, knife safety, knot-tying and camp manners. This course does not meet the requirements for obtaining Troop Camp certification. Course fee is due at registration and includes the cost of cooking a light lunch.

EVENT PLANNING: ALL Event planning can seem overwhelming and daunting. Learn tips for planning troop, neighborhood or district events that will make the experience easier and more enjoyable. This course reviews the necessary paperwork and developing activity and theme ideas.
