Reaching More Girls Our organization is committed to ensuring that every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout has the opportunity to be a Girl Scout. Through new initiatives like the Ameren Rural Troop Start-Up and Launch Into Girl Scouts and investing in proven successes like the Community Troop Program, GSEM reached more girls across eastern Missouri in 2021.

Impactful Programs In 2021, amid seismic shifts in technology and culture, Girl Scouts was an essential force in girls’ lives—serving as a vital experience that grows and expands alongside them. Working with community partners to offer Live From Girl Scouts and enhanced patch programs like Disability Awareness, girls connected with new role models, topics and ideas and worked on skill-building badge work.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion For more than 100 years Girl Scouts has stood for making the world a better place, and pledged to “help people at all times.” Those words carry great weight in 2021 especially as our organization took great strides to also make our world a more equitable place.
