In this 20-minute course, volunteers learn the importance of inclusive and equitable language in programs and practice using this language to support the identities of all Girl Scouts and foster a positive troop environment.

Field Trips and Travel (GSUSA)

Level: All

Girl Scouts love getting out of the meeting space and exploring the world around them. This 20-minute course provides guidance, recommendations, and tips for planning a Girl Scout trip. It also covers the Girl Scout Travel Progression to understand where to start with travel and how and when to progress. Whether your Girl Scouts want to plan a day trip or an international adventure, this course is the place to start.

Girl Scout Uniform Basics (GSUSA)

Level: All

This 20-minute course enables volunteers to select a Girl Scout program level—Daisy through Ambassador— and receive clear, step-by-step uniform guidance for that age group. Volunteers will receive a general overview of the badges, awards, pins, and patches available for each program level uniform, their exact placement on vests, sashes, or tunics, and purchasing guidance.
