Troop Camp Blitz

Daisy to Junior Girl Scouts, leaders, and troop volunteers are invited to Troop Camp Blitz, an enriching weekend for exploring the outdoors and making memories. This event is for adults with Girl Scouts as well as adults attending alone. Girl Scout Daisies-Juniors will attend their own fun-filled programming while adults become troop camp certified. There is an adult-only in-town training session at the Girl Scout Service Center. Adult participants must attend both in-town and at-camp sessions to receive troop camp certification. Patch, meals and lodging are included.

Prerequisites: Troop Camping at GSEM online course and thoroughly reading the Troop Camp Information Packet (TCIP) prior to attending the in-town session.

Camp Fiddlecreek

Troop Camping at GSEM

Level: All

This is the prerequisite online course for troop camp certification. In it, volunteers will learn about GSEM’s beautiful camp properties and the basics of taking Girl Scout troops on a camping adventure. This course is intended to familiarize volunteers with the terms and procedures discussed in greater detail during in-person Troop Camp Certification courses.
