Navigating Conflict with Confidence (GSUSA)

In this two-hour interactive course, volunteers learn to navigate challenging conversations, where emotions run high and positive outcomes are critical, to reach common ground with others. The course includes strategies to encourage a healthy mindset, recognize differences, and problem-solve so that volunteers can confidently confront and resolve conflict.

Representative Assembly Delegate Training

Level: All

This course is for volunteers and girls elected to serve as delegates or alternate delegates to the GSEM Representative Assembly. In it, delegates learn about the responsibilities, policies, and procedures related to their role, as well as the basics of parliamentary procedure.

This course provides guidance to district or neighborhood managers on building a strong service team. They learn how to foster a community of dedicated volunteers who work together to support the success of their district or neighborhood.

District and neighborhood meetings are a crucial part of communication with troop leaders and service team volunteers. In this course, district or neighborhood managers learn how to organize and lead meetings that accomplish their goals and keep their volunteers informed.
