Welcome to the Fall 2023 Lead & Learn!

As summer winds to a close, we in Adult Education would like to turn an ending into a beginning and celebrate all things new. A new school year is just around the corner, and the new Girl Scout membership year starts October 1. Maybe your Girl Scout recently bridged to the next program level, which opens up a whole new world of adventures for her. Adult Education is welcoming a host of new endeavors this fall, some of which we are excited to share with you now. After listening to your feedback, the digital edition of the Fall 2023 Lead & Learn will be accompanied by a miniature version of Lead and Learn in print! This condensed mini guide provides the dates of our most sought-after courses and highlights a few you won’t want to miss. The digital edition is still the primary resource for your adult learning needs, as full course descriptions and registration details are only available there. But we hope this Lead & Learn mini guide will be a quick and easy way to see what courses are available and help you fit Girl Scout training into your busy schedules. Lead & Learn mini guides will mailed to volunteer households roughly a week after the digital edition is published on our website.

Next, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the brand-new Adult Education rally in Rallyhood! The Adult Education rally will be your go-to resource for volunteer training. In it you will find a calendar containing the entire course catalog from Lead & Learn, links and files for important volunteer resources, and a news feed where you can ask questions, receive the latest updates and information from Adult Education, and connect with other volunteers. When dates change or cancellations occur, this rally is the first place you’ll hear about it. Learn more about the new Adult Education rally on pg. 4, including how to join. And finally, please continue to provide us with your valuable feedback through the Adult Education surveys found at the end of each course in gsLearn. Even if a course was offered in person, the post-course survey will still be found in gsLearn. We hope your autumn is filled with the joy of many new and wonderful Girl Scout experiences!
