New Troop Leader Training

Course Description: Whether you were a Girl Scout growing up or this is your first introduction to our organization, our New Troop Leader Training will help you begin your journey as a troop leader. Thank you for volunteering, we couldn’t do it without you! All troop leaders and assistant troop leaders must complete New Troop Leader Training within 30 days of receiving this assignment in gsLearn. New Troop Leader Training is designed to help troop leaders become comfortable in their new role. This one-hour course provides an overview of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, the basic structure of a troop meeting, and examples of how proactive planning and useful resources will ensure troop success.

Course Description: What are the Council policies and procedures surrounding troop money earning outside of fall sales and cookies? Gain new ideas on how your troop can earn money to accomplish their goals. Learn all about it in this informative, volunteer-led course.
