Offered to: Junior | Cadette Grades 4-8 As you grow up, it’s time to start taking care of yourself. From staying home alone to walking to school, to shopping alone, there’s a lot to learn about! We will start down the road to independence so you can feel confident on your own, show your family they can trust you, and gain the knowledge needed to keep yourself safe and healthy. We’ll cover basic first aid, safety and emergencies, and self-care skills. Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes will earn their Independence Badge. Location: St. Louis University, 1 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis 63103 Grades 2-3 Brownies will learn how letterboxing is like an international treasure hunt, create their own personal stamp, find others’ letterboxes, and hide their own! Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Letterboxer Badge. Location: Camp Fiddlecreek, 558 Daisy Ln., Labadie 63055 Offered to: Brownie Offered to: Cadette Grades 6-8 The Stanley Cup has gone missing! With help from real FBI agents, girls will investigate and practice the art of detection to find it. Girls will learn about what the FBI does and hear from a female FBI agent. Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Special Agent Badge. Location: FBI, St. Louis Field Office, 2222 Market St., St. Louis 63103 Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Brownies will begin to investigate the complexities of the sky as they learn to see things in a new way. We’ll meet our solar system neighbors and investigate the moon, sun and stars. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Space Science Adventurer Badge. Location: Camp Tuckaho, 163 Tuckaho Ln., Troy 63379
Offered to: Daisy Grades K-1 To complement the new money badges just earned in February in the Daisy Drop Box, Daisies will go on a money-related field trip. Offered to: Junior Grades 4-5 Like a national treasure hunt, geocaching is searching for caches that others have hidden outside. Juniors will learn how to use a GPS to locate coordinates and stay stealthy as they search and find geocaches. Girl Scout Juniors will earn their Geocacher Badge. Location: Forest Park
