Women’s History Month Patch Program

The Women’s History Month fun patch program is designed to help Girl Scouts honor significant historical women, learn about important milestones in women’s social and legal progress and find inspiration in the many ways women continue to influence the world. Girl Scouts will choose from a list of activities to explore, learn, and celebrate Women’s History Month as they earn this fun patch. Virtual programs include:

March 1, 6 pm - Women Entrepreneurs: Then and Now March 7, 6 pm - Health, Wellness, & Women’s History March 2 1 , 6 pm - The Art of Women’s History March 28, 6 pm - Invent the Change: Women in STEM

Daisy Think Like a Citizen Scientist March 4 Start: 10 am End: 11:30 am OR Start: 2 pm End: 3:30 pm

Offered to: Daisy Grades K-1 During this Journey, Daisies will learn how scientists use the scientific method to investigate the world and make discoveries. Daisies will complete hands-on activities to learn how to make observations and collect data. Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey Award. Location: Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House, 15050 Faust Park., Chesterfield 63019 Grades K-1 In 2015, leaders around the world agreed to work together to accomplish 17 goals by 2030. These focus on caring for the environment, making sure people have enough to eat, and improving global health. Join us to learn more about these amazing goals and how you can do your part to help accomplish them! Girl Scout Daisies will earn their Global Action Award.
