Sponsored by Edward Jones, Girl Scouts of all ages will engage in a fun cookie-themed competition while learning or refreshing the basics of money earning and goal setting Girl Scouts will earn the Cookie Entrepreneur Family Pin and the 2022 Edward Jones Cookie College Patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 8-12 Join Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri for a fun day of learning about the Girl Scout Gold Award. You will have the opportunity to: participate in Gold Award training, meet the committee members who will mentor you through the program and spend time brainstorming and researching options for your project This workshop is for current high school Girl Scouts who are interested in beginning their Gold Award. All Girl Scouts are eligible to earn this prestigious award, regardless if they earned the Silver Award as a Cadette. Please note that this is an expanded version of the required Gold Award training, therefore, if your Girl Scout attends this workshop, they will not have to attend the training. Location: Girl Scout Service Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Offered to: Brownie Grades 2-3 Brownies will learn more about coding, create algorithms and use loops to make the steps of their algorithms repeat over and over again. They also learn that events cause things to happen before creating their own set of commands by doing some coding on their own. Girl Scout Brownies will earn their Coding for Good 1: Coding Basics Badge. Join the GSEM Astronomy Club to learn more about the solar system, the stars and everything astronomy! Each month will feature discussions, guest speakers and more!
