Offered to: Grades K-1 Come celebrate the birthday of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts. Daisies will learn why a pearl necklace was important to Juliette and our organization. Older girls will teach Girl Scout songs and traditions to the Daisies. We may even have a surprise birthday guest. Girl Scout Daisies will receive a special birthday patch. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 6-8 Newspaper cartoons, comic books, graphic novels… comic art is a broad, exciting and growing field. Comics are sometimes described as “sequential art” though some are only one panel. So what is a comic exactly? It’s a visual story told however you would like to tell it. Join us to learn more about comics, art, and how you can become the next great comic artist! Girl Scout Cadettes will earn their Comic Artist Badge. Offered to: Grades 2-3 Girl Scout Brownies learn about the world of cybersecurity with the Maryville University Chapter of Women in Cybersecurity. Girls will learn what technology can do and how to keep our information safe and secure through hands-on activities. Girl Scout Brownies earn their Cybersecurity 1: Basics Badge.
