“As my troop of girls gets older, they are continuously looking for new and exciting challenges. In order to bring new experiences to my troop, I knew getting ready to take them camping would be a great opportunity. My favorite training was the one I did to become camp certified. It was a session that allowed me to bring my daughter to experience what camp is all about while I learned all I need to take my troop camping. “My favorite Girl Scout training I’ve ever taken was Troop Camp A-Z. I have a wonderful group of girls that love the outdoors and this training prepared me for adventures at our Council’s camps...but it did so much more than that! I made new friends with some amazing fellow volunteers, expanded my knowledge in outdoor cooking and increased my love for camping! It was a fantastic weekend!” Karisa Grimshaw, District 17
