Fall 2019 Inspire Discovery

Dana C. 14 years old, Girl Scout Senior, Troop 3328 Dana is another one of our G . I . R . L .. Board Members! For the next two years, Dana will lend her voice to our Board of Directors, providing valuable and girl-focused input on anything related to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Kaitlyn O. 10 years old, Girl Scout Junior, Troop 1858 Kaitlyn was recently granted the Medal of Honor in recognition of her heroic efforts. During gym class one afternoon, Kaitlyn saw that a fellow classmate was having difficulties breathing. Realizing he needed medical assistance, Kaitlyn alerted her teacher who called paramedics. Because of Kaitlyn's quick response, her classmate has recovered and is doing well!

Abigail H. 6 years old, Girl Scout Daisy, Troop 2094

Abigail was another one of our top 15 Girl Scouts who earned the opportunity to participate at the USO of Missouri’s Holiday Block Leave. In the early morning hours, Abigail handed out Fall Product treats to our military men and women traveling through the airport to go home for the holidays.

Mira I. 14 years old, Girl Scout Cadette, Troop 3475

Mira helped form the Girl Scouts robotics team called P3, now a FIRST® Tech Challenge Team. Their most recent accomplishment includes building a water purification system using all-natural materials including Morgina seeds. Their team also competes in the annual SeaPerch competition and this year, they were invited to nationals in Maryland!
