Fall 2019 Inspire Discovery

Connie C. 16 years old, Girl Scout Ambassador, Troop 2656 Gold Award Girl Scout Connie recognized the power of teen stress and decided to develop a program that teaches healthy stress relieving tactics. She initiated a wellness club at Ladue High School. Together with the wellness club, she planned a De-Stress Day which included activities like yoga, meditation, games and coloring.

Sophia B. 16 years old, Girl Scout Ambassador, Troop 994 Sophia is a Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri G . I . R . L . Board Member! Sophia will be participating in the Council’s board meetings, providing the essential girl perspective to any decision regarding the direction of the organization.

Gabrielle C. 18 years old, Girl Scout Ambassador, Juliette Gold Award Girl Scout Gabrielle made it her mission to ensure local immigrants and refugees feel like they have regained a sense of humanity. With the help of the International Institute, she organized a “picture day” and captured dozens of family portraits.

Mackenzie W. 14 years old, Girl Scout Cadette, Troop 1259 Mackenzie is a member of SWENext (Society of Women Engineers) Club and has been eagerly tackling hands-on engineering challenges offered through the monthly Girl Scout program. Because of the club, Mackenzie is excited about exploring a future career in a STEM-related field!
