Offered to: Grades K-3 Bring your dancing shoes! This workshop will include ballet classes full of creative movement activities designed to spark imagination like ballet themed story time and crafts where we will create costume accessories. At the end of the program, we will have a short “royal ball” where Girl Scouts will show off their crafty creations and present a dance they have learned.

Riflery Exploration March 8

Offered to: Grades 6-12 (must be at least 12 years old) Adventure alert! Older girls have the opportunity to learn about safety and the proper techniques of shooting a .22 caliber rimfire rifle in a controlled and safe environment.

Get Savvy with the

Offered to: Grades 4-5 Juniors are going to get savvy with the Federal Reserve as they cover each step of the Savvy Shopper Badge and discuss decision making. We are faced with the need to make decisions, both big and small, on a daily basis. The earlier young people learn how to make a good decisions, the better their decision- making skills will be. Girl Scout Juniors earn their Savvy Shopper Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 4-8 This meeting of the Reach for the Stars Astronomy Club will focus on all things solar. Learn about solar science and exploration, sun safety and the properties of the sun through hands-on activities, exploration and experiments. Offered to: Offered to: Grades 6-8 Cadettes learn in a fun new way how to keep track of their debts and how to earn their credit. They have to participate in activities to ‘earn’ their credit and be very careful how they use their ‘debit’ cards. Girls will need to pay for everything this program has to offer from their snack to prizes. Hopefully they do not end the evening with an I.O.U! Girl Scout Cadettes complete Steps 1-3 of their Budgeting Badge. Daisies will learn about their communities—and how people work together to be good neighbors to each other. Girl Scout Daisies earn their Good Neighbor Badge.
