Offered to: Grades 6-8 Girl Scout Cadettes look for the ME in media and learn how they can shape media — for themselves, their community and the world. Completing a Cadette Journey is a prerequisite for earning the Girl Scout Silver Award and an essential step in completing the Journey is a Take Action Project in the community. This project will be completed outside the workshop. Girls must attend both sessions, complete the Journey and earn the Media Leadership in Action Award. We’ll leap and hop the night away with fun crafts and activities about frogs, kangaroos and more. We’ll find out how maple syrup is made from the tree to the plate and finish off the morning with a taste test at a delicious pancake lunch. Girl Scout Cadettes earn their Trees Badge.
