Offered to: Grades 6-8 At Cadette Club, girls have the opportunity to meet other Cadettes from the region and participate in DIY projects, cooking challenges or team-building games. Come to just one session or attend them all! This session of Cadette Club will include girls joining up with a team to compete in a baking challenge based on the popular Netflix show “Nailed It” where they recreate Pinterest baking creations. Girl Scout Cadettes complete Steps 1, 2 and 4 of their Finding Common Ground Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades 6-8 As a Girl Scout Cadette, changes might be happening to their minds and bodies. Discover what kinds of actions they can take to stay happy and healthy. This program will also feature a special guest speaker who will talk about YouTube makeup and fashion trends. Offered to: Offered to: Grades 2-3 Brownies learn about what inventors and engineers do by completing the three-badge Mechanical Engineering series. Brownies discover the forces of flight, gravity and force by building and testing their designs for Fling Flyers, Leap Bots and race cars. By the end of the day, girls know how to design and test new things that they invent. Girl Scout Brownies earn their Leap Bot Design Challenge, Fling Flyer Design Challenge and Race Car Design Challenge Badges. Offered to: Grades K-1 Hola! Bonjour! Hello! Today is World Thinking Day! Daisies will explore the Discover and Connect portions of the Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden Journey – It’s Your World Change It! During this Journey, girls gain the knowledge to say hello in several different languages, appreciate those differences and plant a small plant to take home. Girl Scout Daisies complete the Discover and Connect portions of the Journey and know how to Take Action when they leave. Grades K-5, Adults Through the power of music and masterful storytelling, this lively version of Prokofiev’s classic, Peter and the Wolf, will deliver a powerful message inspiring confidence and anti-bullying in children of all ages. Girls will visit the instrument playground in the Wightman Grand Foyer prior to the concert for a chance to learn and play different orchestral instruments. Girls must have a parent with them or maintain adult-to-girl ratio. Location: Powell Hall, 718 N.
