Offered to: Grades 4-5 Accessories really jazz up that outfit, Girl Scout! Don’t miss the opportunity to learn about the techniques and materials needed to make creative and cool jewelry. Girls also craft a special gift for their bestie, just in time for the holidays! Girl Scout Juniors earn their Jeweler Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-12 All Girl Scout program levels will come together for a special Journey Day! Guided by Kappa Deltas from Saint Louis University and Washington University, girls will work on their Think Like an Engineer Journey, learning how engineers use design to solve problems; and will complete three hands-on design challenges specialized for their level. At the time of registration, please select the correct Girl Scout program level. Girl Scouts earn their Think Like an Engineer Journey Award and will know how to Take Action when they leave. Location: St. Louis University, 1 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis 63103 Grades 6-8 Based on the popular cooking television series, this program encourages Girl Scout Cadettes to step up to the challenge by creating their own dishes from pre-determined ingredients during each round. This culinary extravaganza has girls working in teams to craft their masterpieces with the provided ingredients and tools in the Program Center kitchen. After each round, girls present their creation to the judges to see who becomes the Girl Scout Chopped Champion! Grades 9-12 Based on the popular cooking television series, this program encourages Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors to step up to the challenge by creating their own dishes from pre-determined ingredients during each round. As we discover Tula’s story, girls will uncover that they, too, are courageous and learn how to nurture that inner strength for the rest of their lives. Girl Scout Daisies earn their Tula Petal.
