Offered to: Grades K-12, Adults Join Girl Scouts for a special service project decorating cards and writing letters thanking our military troops, veterans, new recruits, wounded heroes and their caregivers, and first responders for their service to our country. Our messages of support will be sent to Operation Gratitude. Girl Scout Brownies complete Step 2 of their Making Friends Badge and Girl Scout Juniors complete Step 1 of their Scribe Badge.

Offered to: Grades 4-5 Girls will get an introduction to the world of innovative geospatial technologies and mapping with a hands-on opportunity to learn from the professionals. Girls discover how to recognize places on satellite photos and make their own map of the pyramids in Giza, Egypt and learn how these technologies can be applied closer to home.

Offered to: Grades 4-8 Join us for the blast-off of the new Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Reach for the Stars Astronomy Club! During our first meeting, girls will get an introduction to the solar system and our place in it. They also learn about each planet and its properties through fun and interactive experiments and activities. High school-aged Girl Scouts interested in a leadership role with this program should contact Mary Fuller at mfuller@girlscoutsem.org for more information. Girl Scout Juniors complete Steps 1 and 3 of their Space Science Investigator Badge. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-1 This palooza is the perfect opportunity for brand new Daisies to learn about Girl Scouting. Girls will discover what it means to be a sister to everyone while playing games, learning Girl Scout traditions and making crafts. Girl Scout Daisies complete Step 1 of their Vi Petal. Location: Berges Family Girl Scout Program Center, 2300 Ball Dr., St. Louis 63146 Grades K-8 Learn the fast-paced sport of racquetball—a fun activity girls can play for a lifetime with their friends and family. First-time and experienced players are both welcome. Girls will participate in an active racquetball match with their fellow Girl Scouts. Vetta Racquet Sports staff will group girls according to age and ability. Girl Scout Brownies complete Steps 1-4 of their Fair Play Badge, Girl Scout Juniors complete Step 4 of their Practice with a Purpose Badge and Girl Scout Cadettes complete Steps 2-3 of their Good Sportsmanship Badge.
