Fall 2019 Inspire Discovery

Fall Equestrian Adventures Enjoy a unique horseback riding experience at Camp Cedarledge. Located in Pevely, Mo, approximately 45 minutes from the Girl Scout Service Center, our equestrian program is run by experienced wranglers who help girls of all levels discover the joy of horses. All programs have a 15-person limit. Troops who exceed the 15-person limit can choose two time slots or contact the Answer Center for assistance in scheduling a program. Adults are welcome to register and ride, but are not required to as wranglers secure ratios on the trail ride.

“Under Missouri law, an equine activity sponsor, an equine professional, a livestock activity sponsor, a livestock owner, a livestock facility, a livestock auction market, or any employee thereof is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine or livestock activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine or livestock activities pursuant to the Revised Statutes of Missouri.” All equestrian programs follow Girl Scouts of the USA Safety Standards as outlined in Safety Activity Checkpoints . Go online to girlscoutsem.org to check openings and register. Refund requests will be honored if made at least two weeks before your program. Refunds must be in writing and emailed to answercenter@girlscoutsem.org .

Dates: Sept. 21, 28, 29 Oct. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 Time: 1:30 pm Cost: $35 per rider Saddle Scout Length: 3 hrs. Dates: Sept. 21, 28, 29 Oct. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 Times: 9:30 am Cost: $45 per rider Troop Ride and Cookout Length: 2.5 hrs. Dates: Sept. 21, 28 Oct. 12, 19, 26 Times: 3:30-6 pm, 4:30-7 pm Cost: $40 per rider, $7 per non-rider who will participate in cookout Times: 9 am, 11 am Cost: $30 per rider
