We’ll visit multiple shops, talk with business owners, experience the magic of a quaint historic downtown, and enjoy lunch at the Blue Owl. Then we’ll envision a potential business of our own, design branding, and create a business plan. Cadettes earn their Business Creator Badge. Seniors earn their Business Startup Badge. Spend the day exploring and creating as we visit some of the park’s most iconic spots, including the Saint Louis Art Museum and the Saint Louis Zoo. Girl Scouts will learn how art and nature connect, drawing inspiration from the beauty around them to spark their own creativity. The day includes a behind-the-scenes zoo tour, where we’ll get an up-close look at amazing animals that will inspire our next artistic masterpiece! Future Analysts: A GEOINT Experience ☙ June 2, 3, and 4, 9 am-4 pm Berges Family Program Center, 63146 Grades 8-11 for the 2025-2026 school year Cost: $125; lunch and transportation included Step into the world of geospatial intelligence during this immersive three-day experience for Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts. Learn about being a GEOINT analyst, where we’ll uncover the secrets hidden in satellite images, explore digital mapping with ArcGIS Online, and take part in hands-on GPS and drone fieldwork. Girl Scouts will tackle a simulated intelligence mission—just like a professional analyst would. Girl Scouts earn their STEM Careers Badge and Take Action Award. This program serves as a preview to the NextGEO Summer Academy, where participants can earn an industry recognized certification in GEOINT. In this three-day program, Cadettes will jump into the world of cartography and digital mapping. Through fun, hands on projects using ArcGIS Online, we’ll work as teams to investigate real-world challenges and design interactive maps that tell a story. From critical thinking puzzles to collaborative map missions, Girl Scouts will discover how geospatial tools can help us understand and improve the world around us. FIRST ® LEGO ® League Challenge Robotics Badge Day ☙ June 23, 9 am-4 pm welfare in their own communities and earn the Take Action Award. Cadettes earn their Animal Helpers Badge. Ambassadors earn their Voices for Animals Badge. Lunch and transportation provided. Spend the day at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch and discover what it truly means to be an animal advocate! During this inspiring program, Girl Scouts will learn about animal welfare and see firsthand how the ranch rescues and rehabilitates animals in need. Girl Scouts will take a guided tour, meet and help feed the animals, and complete a hands-on service project that supports the ranch’s mission. Girl Scouts will learn the basics of creating and programming robots with LEGO ® , teamwork, and guidance from a mentor. This program will give Girl Scouts a sneak peek into the FIRST ® LEGO ® League (FLL) Program and GSEM robotics team experience. FLL introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Girl Scouts earn their Programming Robots, Designing Robots, and Showcasing Robots Badges.
